WHAT IS A SOCIETY?

7 people together can form a society if they decide to do some charitable, literary or scientific deeds under the Indian Societies Registration Act, 1860. The memorandum stating the nature of the activities, aims and objectives as well as the mission and vision of the society is prepared and submitted to the registrar. All the aims and objectives of the company have to be approved by the constituting members of the society before submission of the same for approval.
